Product arrived quickly.
PROS: Price of the charger is a fraction of that charged by Palm or mobile phone providers.
It works.
CONS: Initially difficult (snug) to plug into phone/pda (but gets better with use).
Not sure if it's only my car, however, the charging wire amplifies powerline noise on AM radio. Unplugging the unit makes the static go away and static is absent when there are no power lines in the vicinity. Seems to get worse at crucial moments in Cubs games.

This is the slowest charger I've ever purchased. It takes hours to get 1% of the battery charged. It is only JUST better than nothing.

By Marcus Payne I plugged the charger into my outlet in the car and after about 45 minutes I noticed smoke pouring out the end of it. I immediately disconnected it before it caught on fire.

By D. R. DeBoer I like this model for the retractable cord that cuts down on clutter in the car. It is a bit delicate, as I proved by breaking one on airplane, but worth it but an inexpensive, practical charger. You just have to be a bit careful with it.

By Teach Kids I tried it once and it seemed to overheat. I smelled what seemed like plastic burning & noticed a little bit of smoke coming out of the lighter outlet. My husband suggested that I unwind the charger completely the next time I try it. I'll see if that works. My daughter tried hers & hers didn't overheat. Good price.
