Super BrightMar 01, 2010 I got this light for when I lay in bed and read at night, the light is very bright and excellent to read with. I don't clip it to my books, but I have a shelf in the corner behind my bed I attach it to and it works just great. I'd recommend this light to anyone.

amazing light- so many uses!!Feb 26, 2010 This light has served so many purposes in our home. Of course it is great for reading - it clips on so perfectly to the back of the book for use of turning pages and it is lightweight so no added weight while holding your book!! I also use it for a nightlight when we need to get out of bed and as a nightlight for our newborn son when we go out of town. It clips perfectly on his bassinet. We also use one in the house over his changing table-it clips on the blinds so that in the middle of the night we can see but it doesn't wake us or the baby fully. Overall this is such a great product with so many uses.

Nifty, useful, and chicFeb 21, 2010 My wife gave this to me as a birthday gift and after using it several times, I have found that it is a pretty good deal. Several things -
1.) The neck is bindy, so I've used it to shine down and shine up, to the left and to the right.
2.) The clip doesn't destroy the book or crease the pages.
3.) The Light is nice and bright but not daylight.
Get the light. Or, maybe, come to the light? Nah, get the light.

Perfect at first, but then not so goodFeb 11, 2010 Initially I thought this was the best book reading light I've ever had. It was bright and the neck is the perfectd length with a very easy to flex neck that is also very stable when you get it into the position you want. However, the battery didn't last all that long, which isn't a huge deal just an inconvenience to replace it, plus it takes TWO batteries and the total cost is basically the same as the book light itself. Also, and more importantly, after a few months use one of the springs on the clip broke and I could no longer attach it onto a book.
