Although I am doing this a bit hesitantly, I can't help but to give this movie 4 stars! This film captures the spirit of the 80's, but it is also relevant to the lives and feelings of teenagers in the new millennium. It's not the best movie I've ever seen, but "Dream a Little Dream" has quite a good script and motivating music that fits the film well. Corey Feldman did a great job in this flick, and it's bound to capture the heart of any teenager, movie buff, or 80's junkie. Do you remember when you had that annoying love-hate relationship with your parents? Do you remember your first love or perhaps that special someone that you lost? Do you remember that punk who always bullied you and talked (...) about you? What about your "so-called" friends? If your answers to these questions are mostly "yes", then this is the film for you! "Dream a Little Dream" really is a heart-rendering movie that captures the essence of adolescence. Definitely worth renting. Enjoy!

Bobby has a crush on Lainie, the girlfriend of Joel, the school jerk. Coleman is a crotchety old man in Bobby's neighborhood who wants to spend eternity with his wife, Gina, and seeks a mystical way to do it. During one of his experiments, Coleman winds up in the body of Bobby, while Gina ends up in the body of Lainie - only Lainie doesn't realize she's now hosting Gina, but Bobby is completely displaced by Coleman and only accessible through Coleman's dreams. Now Coleman has to convince Lainie that they were husband and wife in another life, put back together Bobby's life, and avoid being killed by Joel, with the help of Bobby's best buddy, Dinger, in order to get everyone in the proper bodies.

By Nicola & Melissa Mrs Haim (NIcola) As two Corey fans(from years ago...), this is definately a cult Coreys film. It reminds of me of the fab 80s, the Brat Pack and the all round "cool"ness that was and is 'dream a little dream'. If you are a fan of either of the Coreys, then definately watch this and reminisce... Mrs Feldman (Melissa) We are huge Coreys fans, so we have seen all of their films and this is by far the best. The soundtrack is fantastic!!!! and I just love my "husbands" dancing! I just wish this film was easier to buy in England as we have worn out our current copy!!!!This is a must film, so go watch it!!!!!!!

By Noah Grenwood This is one of the most unique movies I've ever seen. Very original. It's very much in a class of it's own. It is a fun movie of the 80s with the Coreys in another one of their adventures. However it's not exactly a John Hughs type of movie. Not only is the story a bit different but even the direction, and essence of the movie is different and unique as well. I am not saying that it is a bad movie at all, I really like it for what it is. A cool 80s soundtrack from opening to closing credits. The price of this movie is very generous and worth the buy. Buy it if your a fan of 80s teen movies and add it to your collection. The soundtrack is also available here at Amazon.

One of my favorite films so defining of the 80's. A classic teen angst high school movie but with imagination. I think Corey Feldman & Corey Haim made a great team in this. This film makes you want to go back to the 80's. I was just going into high school at the time this release in theaters .Watching it nowadays I completely related to Corey Haims character Dinger. Dinger and Bobby are best friends Bobby falls for Lainie the hottest girl in school and has to convince her that she loves him before the night's over but here's the story in an accident Bobby switches his body with the old man next store living life thru his eyes and vice versus. The same thing with Lainie and the old man's wife. A romantic comedy with a twist. Pay attention to the characters and their bond. A great film about friendship & relationships in high school. An essential to collection for anyone who grew up in 80's cinema. I own the DVD and the soundtrack is great too.
